	Welcome to the Poteet Community Forum site!

	We are a Texas Corporation and are recognized by the State of Texas and the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We received our charter in June of 2004 and have been active in the Poteet community since that date. Meeting Schedule We meet on the second Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Poteet on the corner of 4th St & Ave G at 7:30 PM. Everyone is welcome. Come help us improve Poteet. The Poteet Community Forum was created with the sole purpose of providing much needed assistance to the residents of the Poteet Area by developing community assitance programs and recreation facilities and other community improvement projects to improve the lives of Poteet's citizens. Poteet's Christian community serving Christ through outreach to our neighbors.		*The Latest News* The Poteet Community Forum has been requested by the City of Poteet to work with the National Park Service to construct the Poteet Middle Camino Real Recreation Trail. If you have an interest in being involved with this undertaking, please go to the "Trail Blazers" page on this website. January 29, 2011 - The Poteet Canyon Skatepark is now open during normal park hours. Go to the Skatepark Pictures page for pictures of the park construction and opening.
